Explaining the Lay Claretian Movement in the meeting "Encounter with Claret"

This year the training meeting “Encounter with Claret” (called by the Claretian Missionaries to reinforce the continuous formation of their congregation) is addressed to English speakers all around the world. In this context there’s a day focused in knowing the different branches of the Claretian Family, and took place in Colmenar Viejo (Madrid) yesterday 24th September 2012. The Lay Claretian Movement was invited to this session to share our charisma with fathers from India, Ghana, Nigeria, Indonesia, Macau, China and Philippines. During the evening Tono Paramés (Emaús, Bética) explained the Movement to them trying to clarify concretely what’s our Movement, who and where we are, our history and future. After the presentation there was a round-table with representatives of the Claretian Missionaries Sisters (Yolanda from Poland) and Cordimarian Filiation (Rosa and Teresa from Spain) It was a very nice experience to know the doubts and problems of our fathers in their countries, and this event has reinforced the LCM idea of letting us to be well known specially in Asia and Africa, where there’s a generational step between the youngest lay people and the old LCM communities and other Claretian Associated Groups.
