“About our activities, during last lent, the Layclaretians conducted our yearly Lenten Retreat/Recollection. It is usually a full day's encounter. The topic of the retreat delivered by our Assessor Fr. Christian Eze is 'Fulfilling God's Call in Our Lives.' He discussed it under the following dimensions: the Human Vocation, the Christian Vocation, the Law Vocation and finally vocation to eternal glory or ignominy. After the lecture, we went into workshops- had 4 groups to further discuss the lecture and finally had presentations by the groups. In addition to the lecture, we included songs, prayers (ROSARY), confession and finally ended with the Mass. We were spiritually nurished and we enjoyed it. We did not take pictures, next time we shall take pictures and send them to you. We are looking forward and preparing for the feast of Immaculate Heart of Mary in the month of June. Rest assured of our prayers as you prepare for the ASSEMBLY in Brazil. We humbly commit the General Council to Jesus, Mary and Claret for a successful Assembly. Thank you and God bless. Lenten retreat at Puerto Rico

From 1 to 3 of April, layclaretians from Puerto Rico at the Caribbean region have held Spiritual Exercises in the House Mission Claret. Fr Juan Carlos Martos, CMF, currently in charge of the General Secretariate of Vocation Ministry of Claretian Missionaries, conducted the retreat with a very personal teaching style, excellent and enchanting. With the parable of the Prodigal Son, Father Juan Carlos showed them a new way for the meeting with the Father.
Juan Carlos Martos has always demostrated its availability to the Movement, with which he actively worked as asessor of comunities when he was living in Bética province.

Spirituality meeting of the Layclaretians from North of Spain Region

From 12th to 14th of November the formative and spirituality meeting of the Layclaretians from North of Spain Region was hold. To accommodate the high number of participants they had to change the first place searched and finally it was developed at the Askartza Claretian School.
The matter of the meeting was “Advancing in our daily spirituality life” and during this time it deepened into THE FORGE TO LAYCLARETIANS IN THE DAILY LIFE. Juan Lozano CMF., Advisor to the Regional Council prepared the presentation and praying workshops based on the four stages of the Forge. Xabier Larrañaga CMF, gave a speech about “the fire, the mission and the life” that helped the participants to motivate and clarify the way of the Forge.
During the Eucharist which took place on Saturday, 15 young people, 7 from Logroño and 8 from CES-Bilbao, made the entry rite into the Layclaretians Movement.
All the meeting was also an important moment of fraternization between the groups of the region.
