Claretian Missionary Sisters on their XVI General Chapter

The Religious of Mary Immaculate, Claretian Missionary Sisters, will gather in Galapagar (Madrid, Spain) from July 19th to the 10th of August for their XVI General Chapter under the theme: “With the torch of the Gospel at hand… To be new apostles in the world today”.
Attending will be 40 capitulars coming from 14 countries Gathering contributions from all the communities a pre-capitular commission put-together a base document which, in their judgment affirms: «In the midst of darkness “May light be restored” in the reality which surrounds us, hearing anew the invitation of the Lord: “You are the light of the world … It is not lit to be hidden but to give light to all in the house. Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father…” (Mt 5:14ff).»
The motivation to seek new avenues to “enlighten with works rather than words” is found in this Chapter theme, with renewed ways and structures which illuminate and facilitate the road of the mission.
On August 6th layclaretians are invited to participate with them and all the Claretian Family. We may also share the experience of our General Assembly in Brazil.
The sisters ask for intercessory prayer from the entire Claretian Family.
