Prayer for the VIII General Assembly of the LCM

We give you thanks Good Father, because from our baptism you adopted us as your children, and vested us with the Claretian Missionary vocation.

We pray for this time of grace of the VIII General Assembly of the Lay Claretian Movement.

Help us to discover the presence of your Son in each and all the moments that we live, and to perceive Him in the dreams and hopes that live the hearts of all.

Pour upon us the power of the Holy Spirit so that it may guide us to create new horizons for our Movement, centered in love, fraternity and service.

Trusting in your help we commit ourselves to continue our journey within the Church, urged now, more than ever, by the new challenges that the world presents us.

Enlighten and strengthen us to remain faithful to the vocation we have received.

May Mary inspire and strengthen our hope.

We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
